SNOW PEAR AND FRITILLARIA BULB DRINK
This recipe helps to relieve the dryness and light coughs that are associated with autumn.
This drink is very advantageous to asthma sufferers as it is believed to warm and moisturize the lungs.

Ingredients:
1 snow pear 雪梨
1 handful of fritillaria bulbs 川貝
2 ½ cups of water
Directions:
Cut the snow pear in half with the skin on. Remove the core of the snow pear where the seeds are. Stuff this space with fritillaria bulbs.
Bring the 2 halves of the snow pear together, into standing form. Place the fruit into a bowl.
Fill a saucepan with 2 ½ cups of water. Elevate the bowl in the saucepan with a stand. Cover the saucepan.
Turn the heat on high. Turn it down to low after the water boils. After 15-20 minutes or so, when the pear is softened, turn off the fire.
Drink the liquid in the bowl.
Tip:
Discard the fritillaria bulbs but feel free to eat the snow pear.
